We like to make these in either glove tan cow or elk. We can make them fixed leg (step in) or I can give you more flexibility with 3 straps and buckles. They feature extra long fringe, a wrap and tie belt or buckle belt with fringed waist flap. These will come in your choice of color in either 4oz or 5oz leather. The work chap leather is and excellant glovey leather usually a smooth surface. The glove tan cow has a more pebbled grain and In my opinion is an excellant choice for Chinks. I believe that the fringe should extend to just short of the top of your boot, I use the out-seam to achieve this. If you would like your fringe to fall shorter on your leg please provide us wit a shorter out-seam measurement. Our Armitas, Chinks, and Chaps are hand made to your specifications. Please measure carefully, if you are not sure contact please contact us. We believe that step-in leggings should be just a little loose fiving you greater flexibility in the saddle and on the ground, generally when measuring for thigh measurements leave some room for this, in other words d not measure really tight. We offer tow basic weights of leather. 3 to 4 ounce will be a little lighter, yet still very strong and durable and 4 to 5 ounce weight which will be a little heavier. Both weights offera very supple glovetan feel. We also use a workchap leather which has a tighter grain and is very durable and is a good choice for the economically minded. I also offer a diamond tan leather which has a lightly oiled surface and makes a great all around tough work chap. Generally we build our chaps in traditional earth tone colors but if you want something with a little more bling, I can get most any color or combinitation of colors.
